In Hachinohe city in Aomori prefecture, there is a facility called Hasshoku center. Hasshoku is the short way of saying its actual name. Hasshoku center has many specialties of Hachinohe city like seafoods, fruits, sake, drinks and vegetables. Also it has restaurants and kids play room inside. You can spend hours there!
Hachinohe city is located in eastern part of Aomori prefecture and beside the Pacific Ocean. So you can imagine that seafoods are super popular there. Everyday fishes caught on that day are sold. Super fresh, right? If you order sashimi of fishes you are going to buy, they make it right away. That means you can enjoy super fresh sashimi of your favorite fish. They sell just rice bowl as well, so pick out sashimi you like, and put them on the rice bowl. Then your original seafood bowl is made. There are some benches and tables inside for rest and meals. Also there’s a place inside where you can cook everything yourselves that you bought in Hasshoku center. There are many different ways you can enjoy Hasshoku center most.
